Kubrick based his film to do, I'll say it again on the basis of the King book, and horror first class esculated intelligent, in my opinion, he did not offer the best real horror film.
Each usually fully requires a large amount of energy to suspend disbelief, to see even tampered with, much less think that it seems impossible to do so. Kubricks version is sin, much higher than the King's head. I could not just intelligence, intuition and awareness of aesthetic esculate to a level that I could see what was Kubrick's done. TV version of the bright shame! Kubrick was more than likely a genius and the main exit. King is an artist schlock and pain can not compare the two. Now it is just my opinion and if yours is different, you are welcome to do so. I take mine because it is the truth for me! I respect the right of a person to appreciate what they like and do not like what you do not like, and their right to express this view.
